THERAVADA stops by Chinatown to drop some bars for the new year. Been saying it for years now, THERAVADA is no damn joke man. Give it a listen and spread the word!

I don’t know how I missed this, but when you going digging on YouTube you come across some crazy drops. Crazy Al Cayne is the guy and have featured him here many times over the years. He does BMX content, he also did great song parodies, he also has this Spittin in da Wip series. He enlists Boston legend The mighty Casey, best known for his underground classic “white girls”. Check this Casey blacks out.

It’s with a heavy heart I write this post to say Rest in peace and farewell to Megalon aka Tommy Gunn of Monsta Island Czars. This is another devastating one. Tommy was just sending me music a couple months back and now this. This has been a terrible year for losing Czars, Kong, X-ray, Junclassic and now Megalon.
Megalon seemed to be the front runner of the Czars in the early days he dropped a couple underground gems Penny for Your Thoughts that dropped on Grimms label and became somewhat of an underground classic and rarity for those in the know. This album was later re-released a year or two ago on friends of the site FXCK RXP label. This got fans like myself clamoring for new music.

Despite output lacking in the later years my brothers at Grandgood uncovered some interesting videos of Megalon actually showing his face and spitting some gems under his moniker Black Geezus. Megalon left us with some great music and created some great memories. He will be missed. My condolences to his children, friends, family, the Czars and his brother Ray Long.
RIP MEGALON AKA TOMMY GUNN
Daniel Son coming at us with a gem called Golden Turborgs. He’s got some other work and new videos out now too, specifically Brown Body Bags album with Body Bag Ben. Make sure not to sleep.
Haven’t seen King Author around in a while, so glad to see this new drop. The Infamous remix is dope, I like The Beatnuts homage too.

Man Tri-state is still the greatest rapper ever and DJ Scratch provides a sick beat that the gold medallions crew just bring it on. Is Planet Asia one of the most consistant spotters ever?
Sonnyjim hits up On The Radar and drops some serious bars for ya. Can’t believe this only has 300 hits. Sonnyjim is crazy with it.

It’s with a heavy heart I say Rest In Peace to my homie Junclassic. I read this on his page last week and thought it was about someone else, then I saw it on my homie Weapon ESP page and was hit with a gut punch. Truly devastating he was such a great guy and a great MC. This has been a hard couple years for the Czar squad, we’ve lost so many…
Jun just last year hit me up to send me a cassette tape he had of himself freestyling at Hofstra University and what I believe to be 1998/99. I’m glad he sent the tape because this is unreleased and his first appearance on radio and he entrusted me to digitize it. I sent the files to Jun but I don’t think he ever released it to anyone.
I got his permission at the time to release it but was waiting for the right time, sadly I didn’t think a time of heartbreak would be the time. This sucks. But let’s remember Junclassic for being awesome and a great MC. Below is his performance at Hofstra Radio in am Unreleased freestyle session, I don’t know the other MC’S name and Jun couldn’t remember either lol.
