Awol Da Mindwriter drops his new album “Now Loading”. It has features from Vic Spencer, Al Unique, Zarz The Origin and Planet Asia. I gave it a spin this morning and I must say I love the Sega/Video game theme throughout the album. It starts with an Altered Beast sample and goes in to a song called Altered Beast, then floats into a song called Snatchers where Awol does a concept song about the Sega CD classic by Konami and Hideo Kojima “Snatcher”. Vic Spencer gives a killer verse on this one too. August Fanon provides the beats for the project and he delivers on every track.
