The Supervisor x Jack The Rapper – Cortez 3: The Final Chapter

The Supervisor and Jack The Rapper connect again for their last ride on Cortez 3: The Final Chapter. This has been a great series of albums by the 2 Boston MC’s and this may be their best yet, including production from the incredible Doppelgangaz on 3 joints and Dro providing the rest, production wise this album is tight. The Supervisor and Jack The Rapper prove their lyrical range once again, and bring upon frequent collaborators Don Def among others to crush it along side them. Check this album out give it a listen, better yet give it a buy and support underground hiphop. Lastly, this Friday The Supervisor and Jack The Rapper are throwing a free album release party for Cortez 3 in Cambridge with The Doppelgangaz headlining , did i mention it was FREE! He Had What We Need: R.I.P. BIZ MARKIE

Biz Markie was a unique and incredibly gifted musician, lyrically, beat making, beat boxing, dj’ing he could do it all. He was also rib splitting funny and had an incredible wit. If you know him from his music work or his music or on children’s TV show, Yo Gabba Gabba he was just a friend to us all. We will miss you Biz, RIP.

Whatson ft Conway The Machine x M-Dot x Nutso – Neck Tie

My brother M-Dot just hit me off with this banging new joint featuring him, Conway and Nutso over some slick Whatson beat. M-Dot hungrier than a caged bear on this one and I’m for it. More info down below.

German producer Whatson recruits long time collaborator and Boston legend M-Dot, Queens street capo Nutso and one of the biggest artists in the game right now, La Maquina himself, Conway the Machine (Shady Records/Griselda). On “Neck Tie” the three emcees trade barbaric lyricism over gritty production suited for the post-mortem mutilation the song title refers to. Also look out for M-Dot’s upcoming vinyl release “Dining in Dystopia” coming this Fall.
