New Cali Agents is always welcome! And this is just nasty! Marco Polo with a beat that Planet Asia and Rasco just float on. If there’s an album on the way this could be one of my most anticipated of 2026 after this jawn.

It’s been 20 years since Mega Ran aka Random dropped his debut album The Call. This is an incredible time capsule and you can hear and see the energy has always been with Mega Ran. Salute to my brother for this huge milestone!
This video is like Dinner with Andre but the rap version.
Clipse came through with Pharrell and smashed the Grammys. Fire performance as always from this bunch.

This is a incredible piece of hiphop history. DJ Goldfinger and Underground.fm hosted a bunch of freestyle sessions with a bunch of heads from Columbus Ohio. Namely, Dvsalias and his friends. I believe this was done between 2002 and 2004 and I dont think has ever been released to friends. I hope you enjoy this real lost piece of history.I actually just uncovered 2 more Dvsalias gems, just gotta holler at folks, peace to Thomas for the photo for the album cover.
R.I.P. Dvsalias aka Sham aka Scott Overbeay
Kurious drops some gems in this new video for Toilet/Cloud9. Kurious always brings it and continues to be a favorite of mine.

Che Noir has been one of my favorite MC’s for a hot minute with stellar release after stellar release. Not only is she a great MC she’s a very talented producer as well and she seems to have no quit for her grind right now. This praises remix is fire.

It’s with a heavy heart I write to tell you we’ve lost Shamalam aka DVSalias aka Scott. He and I go back 25 plus years on the forum and has been down with HipHopHeads since day one. DVS and I shared a lot of fun times together online. We chatted every day on AIM for years talking hiphop, making jokes and just having fun.
He was unique individual, and a great guy. We still talked from time to time, but he had his demons and his health was really bad so it was not as frequent as I hoped and that’s partially my fault as well. Scott was integral to this website specifically the forums. He was a legend. He was great artist and MC and he did drop an album back in the day but didn’t really release it other than giving it to friends or people grabbing it from him in Columbus.
I have the album and now that he’s gone I’d like to immortalize him by releasing it here and online. The album features production from the legendary DJ Drastic and features Bruce Wayne and Imo it’s a classic that’s never been heard, I hope you find some enjoyment and possibly become a fan of an extremely slept on MC. It’s called “sham’sDvsalias”. Also, Here’s an exclusive track he did for us in the 2004 where he rapped on a answering machine to Illmatic aka Pete Allah.
R.I.P. SHAM AKA DVSALIAS AKA SCOTT OVERBEAY, I’ll miss you brother.
