If you’re not from the city of Boston the name Joseph Sater may not ring a bell. But for those of whom are from here, went to college here, or visited for sometime, than more than likely you visited Boston most legendary music venue The Middle East Night Club in Cambridge. If you’ve followed me or my site for any amount of time then you’ve probably seen more than one performance from this venue as I’ve filmed there dozens upon dozens of time. Joseph Sater was responsible for all that as the Co-founder of the legendary venue on Mass Ave.
His vision has produced thousands of shows and legendary performances in the city going back nearly 50 years. He helped create scenes of music of all genres for the city and you could see it all under this roof and get a great meal on top of it.
R.I.P. Joseph Sater.
Jiles hailing from Van Buren crew and Brockton, MA is criminally slept on. I was going through some joints that I missed this morning and this one’s from last year but, this deserves bigger numbers. Keep an eye on this cat, he had one of my albums of the year a couple years back with the Mookie Blaylock release.
I don’t know how I missed this, but when you going digging on YouTube you come across some crazy drops. Crazy Al Cayne is the guy and have featured him here many times over the years. He does BMX content, he also did great song parodies, he also has this Spittin in da Wip series. He enlists Boston legend The mighty Casey, best known for his underground classic “white girls”. Check this Casey blacks out.
Haven’t seen King Author around in a while, so glad to see this new drop. The Infamous remix is dope, I like The Beatnuts homage too.
The mighty M-Dot once again teams up with now regular collaborator Method Man! M-Dot has been killing it. Fresh off another European tour an album in 2025 and Co signs by legends M-Dot is showing no signs of slowing down. Truly happy to see how far he’s come. Salute!
The Hairline Bros are crushing it in their latest video. Driving foreign whips and just having fun out here. I love this track. Run it up!
The Supervisor and North$ide Dro are the Hairline Brothers. HLB recruit King Author to assist in this banger called Step Back.
Big Dese fresh off the new album with The Dunnas Dunn Dee, Big Dese is already got his first solo drop of the year off his new album out today called NO RESPECT. Dese channels his inner Rodney Dangerfield. Can’t wait to tap in later.

I been told you HiSpeed is cooking in 2025 and here we have a dope ass single by Louie Sincere. The Framingham MC drops an old school digital maxi single giving a nice little taste of what he has in store for us when he drops his album “Sincero” at the end of the month 1/28/25. Be on the look out for that one!
