Lord Sear passed away and Shade 45 paid tribute on day 2 by inviting back Bobbito, not only that but Xzibit takes over for a portion as well. So many guests called in and so many legendary rappers, producers and DJ’s chimed in to share their love for Lord Sear. He will be missed greatly.

HipHop lost a real one the other day with the passing of the incredible DJ Lord Sear. I wrote up a lil eulogy that doesn’t really do the man justice.Bobbito took over Shade45 to give respect to Lord Sear. Callers and guests just paying tribute and showing love. Statik Selektah, Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, Benny the Butcher, Mic Geronimo, Smoke DZA, Buckwild, Crazy Legs, Redman, Diamond D, DJ Premier, Westside Gunn, family, friends, amongst others. Just a beautiful send off to the homie, done with so much and respect and class.In the last 3rd of the show Smoke DZA takes over and continues the tribute for Lord Sear. I couldn’t let this be locked down so I ripped the show for your listening pleasure. Thank you Bobbito for the great show, and Rest In Peace to the legendary Lord Sear.

My homie requested this so I went diggin’ and luckily for him I still had it after all these years. And lucky for you if you havent heard this, for real underground hip-hop history right here, this is where it all started for many. This is the start of Def Jux these dudes went off for an hour. It’s unfortunate many of these MC’s never dropped LP’s on Def Jux but most of em had some classic vinyl cuts via the label and IMO, Cann Ox, Mr. Lif, Murs and El-P all dropped classics on there. I may have missed an MC in the title perhaps it was Breeze Brewin but perhaps that was another cypher. Peace to Bobbito.
