It’s a great day when two Artists get together to create something incredible to honor the fallen. Just a couple days ago across from the QUEENSBRIDGE Housing project Jeff Henriquez and Eli Lazare did just that immortalizing Prodigy of Mobb Deep a true legend in the hiphop game on 13th and 40th Street in Queens.
That was brought to an abrupt end when dick heads Defaced the Mural not less than 24 hours after its completion. I hope they find the mumble rap fans who did this and skin them alive. People suck.

R. I. P. Prodigy of Mobb Deep…
With a very heavy heart I must say we’ve lost one of the greats of hiphop and possibly one of the best duos in hiphop EVER. Our very own Kung Fu Drew aka The Supervisor was blessed enough to be at his last show in Vegas. Prodigy suffered from Sickle Cell which can cause dehydration, put that in with the blazing heat of 110 degrees and working your ass off on a stage is a deadly combo. Prodigy apparently hit the hospital after the show but sadly after fighting for 3 days he wasn’t able to recover and passed away.
I recall my first time hearing Mobb Deep it was there juvenile hell album I wasn’t impressed and hated the album. When infamous dropped I wasn’t to keen on checking it out but I recall my man had it on his Walkman and he played a few tracks namely shook ones pt 2 and I was blown away. Still til this day one of my favorite albums and groups. I must say HNIC 2 is also a favorite of mine and Imo the return of Alchemist.
RIP!
