But it’s not about Starks..  The saga continues.

Now I know what you’re thinking “fuck the roots?,  no sir fuck you!” and I won’t argue with your opinions but hear me out.  This week the news has been buzzing about Ray Rice dropping his girl like my pants. The whole country is up in arms about it.  The NFL clearly is covering shit up and Ray Rice is a certified scumbag.  Everyone wants to Lynch the heads of the league/team/RiceRice and I don’t blame them it’s clearly a cowardly and despicable act by all parties involved.

Last night during Thursday night football Rihanna was scheduled to perform,  but because of the abuse she suffered so many years ago they cancelled her performance. They thought it wouldn’t be a good idea for a woman who got beat like a drum to perform so closely after news came out of Rice KO’ing his wife. This makes logical sense,  although a performance by Rihanna wouldve been appreciated.

Here’s where things get weird,  so Rihanna cancelled but you know who performed last night?  Chris Brown…  On live TV courtesy of Jimmy Fallon performing side by side with legendary Roots Crew. So while the whole country is shaming the NFL and Ray Rice were patting an equally shitty person on the back,  promoting the sale of his music and he gets to perform with The Roots whom seem perfectly fine and happy performing beside Chris Brown.

We live in such a shitty society, in one hand were dragging a guy through the mud because of his actions.  In the other were telling people it’s OK you can be a dirt bag and we’ll not only give you high 5’s but you’ll get even more privileges now,  like it’s all good. 

So fuck The Roots,  Fuck Fallon and Fuck NBC.  You can make the argument,  Chris Brown did his time…  So did hundreds of thousands other scumbags who beat there girl,  is it now OK cuz they did a little time?  Not in my eyes,  I don’t care how much you say you’re sorry,  how much time ya did,  or how much money or talent ya have.  You deserve nothing but ridicule. I know these guys have a job they’re being paid for but when do you say fuck this,  I guess The Roots aren’t as conscious as I thought.

So BOMSHOT released a new mixtape with some pretty crazy features on it and while the average BOMSHOT hater who seems to have changed his name to Montega (BOMSHOT is the best rap name btw) will assume BOMSHOT is pulling a fast one…  He’s not and this video proves it.  If the team didn’t put up the mixtape it’ll be up by this weekend.  For now the check the video.
