The incredible duo of Action and Statik were set to have a show this friday at the middle east in cambridge but sadly the show has been pushed back nearly a month til’ December 16th while the details are unclear why the show was pushed back but I can guess heads wanted to sleep in and be lazy after Thanksgiving and I can’t blame them. Keith Murray rocked The Middle East last night, he brought the openers Burnt MD and PACK FM of QN5 who did have The Plague with him. The show was fantastic, Pack FM ripped it as well as Pumpkinhead. Keith Murray came to stage rockin’ a sweet fur pilot hat and just smashed it right it away. Keith had so much energy and showed that he’s a true performer and being a big fan of his since the mid 90’s he lived up to my expectations. He performed most of the classics, the rhyme, rhymin with kel and most beautifulest thing, Keith hasnt missed a beat and if you get a chance to see the Def Squad MC live then you gotta do it.

Necro and Mr. Hyde after much delay finally made it back to The Middle East last night and destroyed it. Necro performing all the great joints off his massive catalogue. From Get on your Knees to Creepy Crawl. One of Necro’s best performances I’ve seen and I seen him a handful of times dating back to 2000. The night was not without drama the 2nd or 3rd track in a drunk heckler decided to get wise with Necro (never a smart move), Necro jumped off the stage with a Superman punch and basically destroyed the kid, Necro hit him with 10-15 shots in his brick within 5 seconds laying the kid out but lets not forget the sea of Necro’s cult fans stomping the kid as was being drug out of the spot by Cambridges finest. Peace to S.D.D.S. and my Arlington gang who was in full effect last night, peace to Shawn D, Endust, D-Man, Mixta B, Wisdom, Tyler B, Leah, lil Laura, Budds (spelling), Flett and anyone else I forget sorry.
