R.I.P. Jerkys in Providence

Went to quite a few shows over at this spot in the past couple years, but sadly like Harpers Ferry in Boston it met its demise in late October. I was wondering why I wasnt getting new show alerts from the spot but with a little bit of research I found this out.

wow , they have been having a lot of shows there. why are they closing?

stop paying rent for 2 months, borrow rent money from MS-13, spend rent money on a new soundsystem. remember that you are providence’s largest coke den and continue to stop paying rent for 2 months. get evicted.

Sorry to see it go, another hip-hop friendly club bites the dust… Hopefully someone cool will re-open it and allow hip-hop shows.

Jus Allah and Vinnie Paz are on the grind promoting that new AOTP album The Unholy Terror which I suggest you pick up It’s got a few cuts on there from our man Vanderslice on there so you the beats are fresh., Jus and Vinnie threw down all the classic tracks you could wanna hear, too many to name really, I took as much video as I could and took quite a few pics.
