Shinya Aoki one of the top lightweight fighters in the world got crushed last night in a special rules match against a K-1 fighter aka a real bad ass kickboxer. The rules were the 1st round was supposed to be a K-1 rules match meaning no grappling just striking… the 2nd round was to be an MMA match so you could submit and break an opponent which is Aokis specialty. Aoki made a joke of the 1st round cuz he feared his opponents striking, doing ridiculous and acting a fool to run out time until his advantage round. Sadly for Aoki he had no advantage last night when the 2nd round started he shooted for a take down and got caught with a knee to the face which dropped him and his opponent quickly smashed his face a half dozen times before the ref jumped in.
