New video off Hasan Salaams new album which he’s donating the proceeds to charity so pick that up and support the cause.

Hasan Salaam is someone I been telling people about for years. The guy us way past his age lyrically, politically. He’s had two good albums along with a great posse album called the Reavers and he’s had a video blog with FlowTV. Lately Hasan has been making a buzz with his group Mohammad Dangerfield, don’t sleep on him for real. This is his latest joint from his upcoming album Music Is My Weapon and I couldnt agree more.

FLOW and Hasan Salaam journeyed to West Africa to advocate freedom of speech in Guinea-Bissau by being the first U.S hip hop artist to perform there, as well as teach creative writing to the youth. This was made possible due to our partners Cobiana Communications, the Impossible Music Sessions, and all of our individual sponsors. The journey took us through Dakar, Senegal and Bissau, where Hasan performed alongside the Baloberos (who were beaten and imprisoned for their socially conscious lyrical content) and the rest of the BigUP GB Movement. Music is the weapon of the future. Hasan’s highly anticipated album “Life in Black and White” coming in 2011. Join the movement: www.HasanSalaamMusic.com and www.SimplyFLOW.com
