I’ve just learned that DJ Grand Master Roc Raida has passed away after having two successful surgeries stemming from a MMA accident/injury. Roc Raida was released to inpatient physical therapy which he seemed to be recovering well for a couple days when he supposedly had some issues this morning and died suddenly. I remember hearing Roc Raida for the 1st on some old X-Men tapes this is before they were called the X-Ecutioners. I also have an old ass Roc Raida disc just murdering shit I believe it was from the DMC championships. He was an incredible DJ and had some of the illest table moves ive seen, I was lucky enough to see him solo and with the X-Exutioners on multiple occasions, It’s truly sad to see him gone, the DJ game has truly lost a legend and the grandmaster will be missed.
