There’s been rumblings about this track ever since a very rough version of it debuted on East Village Radio back in the summer when me & Cosmo did a 2 hour Sheen Bros set over there. I recorded Greg Nice’s vocals in Manhattan at Lou “Louie Louie” Vega’s (of Tuff City/45 King fame) studio. I came back up to Toronto and re-did most of the beat and laid down my vocals. Cosmo came in and laid down the cuts and we knocked this thing out the park.
I want to give a shout out to Greg Nice & Cosmo Baker for their amazing contributions to the song. Tamir Z. Brown at Lyrics To Go Entertainment for believing. My man Ethan Phillips from the incredible LA funk outfit Orgone who added some live bass & my big bro Agile of BrassMunk & Big Black Lincoln fame for mixing this down.
