The Boston Celtics have acquired unrestricted free agent Marquis Daniels, in yet another move to solidify their inevitable championship season. Daniels couldn’t get the deal he was looking for from the Indiana Pacers, so he took his skills elsewhere. It is said the Pacers are interested in my sixth favorite current Celtic, Brian Scallabrine. It would be sad to see the red head go, but if that happens the C’s could use the extra dough to resign Big Baby, and eventually hoist another banner to the rafters. Daniels is 6-6 but handles the ball like a point guard. He will be a much needed burst off of the bench when we rest Paul, Ray, or Rondo. I wish the season started today.
