AC/DC vs Iron Man 2
AC/DC is one of the most entertaining rock bands of all time, they did a smart thing by linking up with Iron Man 2, I guess they signed a deal with target to sell the Iron Man 2 soundtrack exclusivly to there store. AC/DC’s last album went platinum the day it went on sale this is in 2008/2009 mind you for linking a deal with walmart to exclusivly sell AC/DC’s new cd but Wal-Mart had to pay upfront for all the copies instead of waiting for them to sell out of stores, genius. This video is amazing.
On the site of a thousand years of violent history, ACDC were pitted against Iron Man in a ground breaking architectural projection mapping project. The front facade of the Great Keep at Rochester Castle, was brought to life using the latest in 3D animation techniques. This onslaught of the senses, saw the castle confront it’s ultimate challenge. Warping, morphing, spewing and collapsing before the audiences eyes. Let there be rock!

i know alot of DJs have been doing Guru tributes… which is dope, but this is 2 hours of music… from 1988, thru his history including Jazzmattazz Vol 1-3, to the end of the Gangstarr days. I covered what i feel was truly Gurus greatest work. this includes unreleased music, the b-sides, remixes, etc. i also had Big Shug, Doo-Wop, Freddie Foxx, Consequence, and Chubby Chub call in and leave some Guru Memories. he was an icon to me, as well as a friend, and i definitely wouldn’t be who i am without the presence of Gangstarr’s music in my life growing up.
