The Harold Hunter Foundation Presents The 3rd Annual “Run For Harold” Bridge Run Saturday, June 6, 2009
There are two additional “jump off” spots where people can join if they don’t want to run the full 5 miles: Washington Square Park at approx 1:50pm and Tompkins Square Park at 2pm. Anyone that doesn’t want to run but still wants to participate should join us at Tompkins Square Park at 2pm for the final leg to Royale (just less than a mile).
We plan to have bikers with boom boxes playing Harold’s favorite songs following the runners to provide extra motivation and fun. Food & beer will be free for runners at the after-party. There will also be a raffle with great prizes. Don’t miss out!
All proceeds go directly to the Harold Hunter Foundation. The mission of the Harold Hunter Foundation is to honor the life of legendary professional skateboarder Harold hunter. This mission is carried out by providing inner-city youth with valuable life experiences and opportunities for personal and professional growth through encouraging and sponsoring their interest in skateboarding.
