Action Bronson and Party Supplies present Blue Chips – live at #weRnyc (video)

Action hit me off with this video and some info about his FREE album he’s droppin’ with Party Supplies called Blue Chips, he’ll be droppin it via Complex/Reebok but no worries we’ll have it too. Blue Chips drops May 12th

Blue Chips is a project that allows me to give something back to all the people who have been supporting me during the last year. Party Supplies and myself linked up in the late fall and over the span of a few weeks created this project entirely off the cuff. We didn’t over think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a “hit song”, clearing of samples or sales expectations. Thanks to the good people over at Reebok and our friends at Complex we are able to give it away to our fans for the nice price of Free.99. We look at this as a thank you of sorts to all the people who rock with us.

Rayman Origins

Well as I posted before I got an XBox 360 fairly recently and I got a great deal on a great game today that game is… YOU GUESSED IT! Rayman Origins this title is on every console and right now at Toys R Us it’s $19.99 the retail price is $59.99 I went to Best Buy which was closer and price matched for the 19.99 and bingo bango im back at the tepee  playing Rayman. The graphics are gorgeous, and the music is fun and entertaining and catchy as hell! The gameplay so far is pretty impressive and the controls are quite responsive. It’s also multiplayer (co-op) so you and the kiddos/friends/family can all play together under one roof like the good ol’ days! Get it while it’s cheap!

Xbox 360

Towards the end of the summer a terrible thing happened… I lost my internet connection… It didnt run away, I just couldn’t afford it anymore. While Fall drew closer I knew I’d need a new source of entertainment but what? This is when I bought an Xbox360 from a friend who gave me a deal on it with 1 controller and Halo Reach. I’m an old school gamer and the main system I had was a Wii which I waited in-line for all night when it dropped, only to feel disappointed shortly after initial launch due to the abundance of just trash games. My Wii has collected dust for years and it really only gets played maybe once or twice a year and then, there it sits, forgotten.

When I hooked up the Xbox which i only played once or twice prior to buying the system I was blown away by the great graphics and speed of which the games go. It was like Alice entering the rabbit hole just a whole new world. I’m not big on FPS (First Person Shooters) but I’m slowly adjusting because it seems that this is what the majority of games are now. I’ve had the 360 for a few months now and I’ve gone a bit crazy buying games off Amazon Warehouse and Gamefly among other sporadic deals here and there but I have yet to pay over $17 for a game and the cheapest games I’ve gotten hover around $3 or so and a handful of them I got for free.

My collection so far seems to be pretty good, I need a wireless adapter cuz I think I’ll be going LIVE this month do you guys know any other key games I should scoop at a cheap price? So far the 360 is bad ass and I feel like cornball that I’m this late to the party but fugg it atleast I showed up. I’m gonna try and report on some more gaming stuff since I’m not kinda into it and possibly post good deals from time to time.

My New Stereo Set Up In The Car

This is how I spent my weekend hooking up my car stereo w/ rear view camera. Paid about $150 for the whole set up. Good if youre on budget. Here’s some pics of it in action, more info  and as you can see youtube video demo.

I was recently given a 93 Buick Park Ave with 60,000 miles in pristine shape. I took out the stock radio and put in this XOvision xo1930 (walmart) head unit paired with a Hootoo Backup Cam (amazon). In this video I basically tested out all the functions from DVD, DVD files, USB stick, aux input and backup cam. Maybe this will help people who intend to get a set up like this going on a budget.
The camera is powered off the reverse lights I bought some 16g wire and connected the wire from the head unit to the reverse light in trunk as well so when i pot the car in reverse the cam pops up on the screen. I can play DVD’s while in drive or any gear for that matter and that can be done by connecting the wire to I believe it was the headlight lamp or the car power I forget which. I was also able to run the wires through a small crevice in the backseat and ran the wires the rest of the way under the plastic trim, camera seems to be working great and kicks right in when thrown into reverse. Pretty cool feature for less than 20 bucks and an hour of work on a Friday afternoon.

Media that was played was
EC Allstars DVD video shown was EC All Stars
A Tribe Called Quest (off data dvd)
Action Bronson – Nightcourt (off ceative zen media player Bon Apetit Bitch!)
Necro (USB stick)

Angry Birds

AB

This game has everyone going nuts and sadly it was just for iPhone then it came for Android then the iPad but people left to PC’s and Blackberry’s were left out. Not anymore! We just got our hands on Angry Birds for the PC and it runs beautifully. I’ve personally tested this on XP and Win7 both run smooth. Prepare to get addicted and frusterated.

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood

Dracula X Rondo

Dracula X: Rondo Blood

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood is one of the most classic games in the Castlevania franchise and its quite a rarity. It was released by Konami for the PC Engine CD aka Turbo Grafx 16 CD in the early 90’s and sadly this incredible game never made it to the states and sat on the shores of Japan. Thanks to nerds and the internet Dracula X has come around in many incarnations, via Nintendo Wii VC and PSP.There were other ways to play this via emulators but often times they can be tricky, uncompatible, and really annoying.

TheCrypt is serving you a straight up Windows version of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, download the file below, extract the zip file, and run the .exe. Once the .exe is ran it will create a folder in your Program Directory called Rondo… Open that file and you’ll see the .exe to run the game you can copy a shortcut to your desktop to make this easier to get to. Once Rondo is running it’ll ask you to configure the game this is really straight forward and self explanitory really. If you want to use a D-Pad just hit f1 to set the controls to your liking Viola you’ll be playing this classic faster than Dracula can suck blood. If you got any questions, sound off in the comments and I’ll get to you ASAP and just an FYI you cant skip the intro/cut scenes so be patient.
