Phoebe Snow was straight class and a great singer, I know of her from her many appearances on The Stern Show, ironically one of her last performances was at Sterns wedding.
My apologies for not being very active on the site, my grandfather has been very sick and sadly he lost the hardest fight of his life Wednesday morning… My grandfather meant a lot to me and although I had not seen him since my grandmother died nearly a decade ago, he was still one of the most important men in my life. He was the coolest like anyone’s grandfather but the difference here is he was mine and he’ll be missed greatly. Seeing his big smile with his gold tooth shining, seeing him stick out his snake tongue to get a laugh, and even making me paper sailor hats as a child are memories I’ll keep forever. He was the biggest Mexican I’ve ever seen and had the biggest heart of anyone I know, I’m now bigger than my grandfather was, hopefully I’ll have half the heart he had. Viva La Gabriel Garcia!

Legendary soul and R&B singer Teena Marie has passed away. She has been said to be an “honorary black person” and dropped classic albums on the Motown label as well as Epic and lets not forget her short stint at Cash Money Records. Teena was truth and even had a law named after her, she’ll be missed.

Word has hit the internet and the underground hip-hop community that famed MC Eyedea has died. So far word hasnt come out how the battle MC lost his life but his mother let his fans know about the passing today via his facebook page.

Damn, another wrestler gone, this time in the way of WWF, Bastian Booger. I can still remember the 1st time I saw Bastion Booger, it was on Saturday Superstars and I remember him eating an ice cream bar with Macho Man or the Ultimate Warrior on it and then doing the Trip to the Bat Cave where he’d sit on his opponents face smothering them with genitals, Quite frightening to say the least lol.
